Tuesday Sept 14, a very beautiful lecture performance by Hans Scheirl, as introduction to the famous now movie "Dandy Dust". Hans deconstructed for us concepts, words, painting, gender body languages, showed a lot of his new paintings, older movies.

Laura Cottingham
Laura Cottingham, on Sept 10, presented her videos: "Not for sale" (1998) on the Feminist Art Movement in USA in the 70's, and "The Anita Pallenberg Story" (2000) a parody and satyre on the Rolling Stones in the 70's.
Itziar Okariz
Image of Itziar's presentation, on Sept 9, afternoon. Itziar's is Basque artist, living now in New York. Image from an older work, recently, she conducted performative actions in the public spaces, in the city spaces, using her own or other women bodies: "Mear en espacios publicos y privados", "Trepar edificios".

Beatriz Preciado
Beatriz Preciado, philosopher and queer activist, author of "Manifeste contra-sexuel", and her audience, on Sept 8. In the morning, for the participants to the seminar, Beatriz took us through the changes in times and actions of the concepts of "gender", "performance". At the afternoon, for a broader audience, she opened the concept of "somatic fictions" about the changes (biotechnological changes) that one could do to one's own body as political action, as political fictions, as nature itself is fiction and politics.

Images from Arteleku, contemporary and cultural centre where the seminar La repolitizacion del espacio sexual en las practicas contemporaneas , coordinated by Maria Jose Belbel, Estibaliz Sabada y Azucena Vieites, is taking place from September 8 till Sept 15. Arteleku, in the suburb of San Sebastian offers technique and room facilities, a documentation center, and organizes regularly, transdisciplinary seminars.
