## Wooshi wooshi e l e c t r o n i c a v a l a n c h e
I do not know exactly how many side events there were to Sonar, but here is one that was (partially?) organized by Solu, somebody from City Min(e)d was helping out too. The event was organized by Wooshi Wooshi and Serilla Associacion Cultural: I quote from the site: Wooshi Wooshi promotes female electronic currents in the form of events, workshops and cds/dvds.
The address was:
c/Ferlandina 39.barcelona (not far from macba)
Why the focus on it, because I was one of the many people invited to play there, and that the idea of side-events interests me – even more than the “””main””” event, interesting to see what kind of dynamic (or counterreaction?) it causes.
The location was a galery, no airconditioning unfortunately…
(this is a subtle way to say that at times the sweat would be really pouring off everbody in buckets)
Also, the sound could not be very loud, as it was in a neighbourhood where people also live.
Then, concerts did start late, and for Spanish people 20 o’clock is really early for a show to begin! Ha, ok, that’s just a side-thought.
Some pictures now, with or without little comments.

* Honeychild – visuals Jane D’Arensbourg *
I fear to say that I totally loved the visuals, but the music was not at all my cup of tea… What a terrible pity.

How being enthousiastic on a stage does transmit energy towards an audience (the theory of the stage animal/podiumbeest?).
